What We're Learning
At Kells Lane, each year group explores a different curriculum theme every half term, all linked to our
whole-school drivers — Connected, Awareness, Respected and Evolving (CARE). To help you find out
what your child is learning and talk about it with them at home, we've put together a short guide for
each year group, starting with the first six weeks of this term.
Each guide includes what's being taught across every subject, a week-by-week glance, some
conversation starters to try at home, and key words your child might use.
For what's happening week to week, our school newsletter has more detail as the term goes on.
